Already in the Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia, the online trading giant is promoting its foray into Thailand with a below-the-line and online push targeting SMEs and entrepreneurs.
Breaking at the end of November, the campaign aims to "aggressively acquire Thai sellers and to encourage them to begin selling across borders", said an eBay spokesperson.
