Wonderbra to get comms refocus
Alex Black, PR Week UK, Thursday, 19 October 2006, 12:00am,
Wonderbra, the lingerie brand famous for its iconic advertising, has switched its public relations account from Strawberry PR to iris PR.
Iris director Nick Porter said it would stress that Wonderbra's products made women ‘feel sexy', rather than recall the overt sexual attraction conjured up by the 1994 ‘Hello boys' campaign.
‘We will also highlight the brand's innovation,' said Porter.
Strawberry PR - acquired this summer by Focus PR - (PRWeek, 18 Aug), Halpern, Yellow Door and The Red Consultancy also pitched for the account.
Wonderbra owner DBA was bought by Sun Capital Partners in February.
