Emirates sponsors new Guardian site

Guardian Unlimited has created an online etiquette guide for business people who travel the world, sponsored by Emirates Airline.

The microsite will be hosted within the Guardian Unlimited business section at www.business.guardian.co.uk/emiratesbusinesstravel. It features a resource centre, foreign language podcasts, competitions to win business class flights and a business traveller blog page where users can interact and swap stories.

Podcasts are available in Chinese, Urdu, Japanese and Arabic, and aim to provide essential information for executives wanting to profit from their respective markets.

The resource centre provides city facts and contains advice on how to avoid causing unnecessary offence in different cultures.

The campaign, created by Mediacom, will be promoted across Guardian Unlimited with a permanent co-branded presence on the business front page, Emirates ads and text links.

Ian Mullins, associate director, Mediacom, said: "As we enter an 'age of dialogue' with consumers, this type of branded content is the perfect way for us to talk to business travellers in an engaging and innovative way."
