Jeremy Nathan has been made head of European marketing communications with global network company 3Com. Nathan has previously been a director at Ogilvy & Mather working for clients including Guinness. He was most recently director of worldwide communications for IBM personal system, on secondment from O&M. 3Com’s appointments made in the marketing team include Alison Taylor as its European analyst relations manager and David Parish as European Internet marketing manager.

Finn O’Driscoll has been appointed brand manager for Strathmore Mineral
Water Company. He was previously marketing manager for Matthew Clark
Wholesale and spent nine years in the wholesale drinks industry.
Lauren Brown has been made territory manager for Scotland with Lee
Jeans. She succeeds John McCormick who has been promoted to major
account manager for mail order.
David Wilson is to take the position of deputy director general of the
Office of Electricity Regulation in Scotland at the end of January. He
is currently with the Scottish Office where he is responsible for higher
education funding.
Tracey Archer has quit GGT Direct in Manchester, which she set up two
years ago, to become business development director at WWAV Rapp Collins
North, based in Leeds. During her two years at GGT Direct, Archer played
a key role in bringing in clients such as Premier Brands and First
Direct.
