Media News: Heating firm to back C4 weather
Marketing, Wednesday, 27 September 2006, 12:00am,
Heating-products manufacturer Worcester Bosch, part of the Bosch Group, is set to make its TV debut by sponsoring Channel 4's weather bulletins.
The company has recently added renewable technologies, including solar waterheating systems and underground heat pumps, to its portfolio, and hopes that the deal will raise awareness of its offering among upmarket adults.
The 12-month tie-up comprises weather bulletins on each Channel 4 news show as well as weather reports on its digital channel More4.
Sue Pennington, consumer brand manager at Worcester Bosch, said the company will vary its idents according to the season.
The deal was negotiated by OMD Fuse.
