OK! gets Ede past Heathrow security
PR Week UK, Friday, 08 September 2006, 12:00am,
Don't you just hate that sinking feeling when you have forgotten something? EdenCancan partner Nick Ede certainly does, and panicked when he found himself at Heathrow without ID or passport recently.
Frantically rummaging through his luggage, Ede happened across a copy of OK!, in which the celebrity PR man and TV presenter was pictured.
Amazingly, we hear, the magazine was apparently accepted as proof of ID, and Ede made it onto his flight to Edinburgh.
'I really wasn't being pretentious. I had no choice,' he insists, when we call to verify his tale.
We believe you, Nick.
