College Hill chief to join B-P Group

College Hill CEO Geoff Smith has quit to join the Bell Pottinger Group as operations director.
Smith, who has spent the past few months working alongside fellow CEO Richard Nichols, will report to Bell Pottinger chairman Kevin Murray. He starts work this Friday (1 Sep).
Smith and Nichols have effectively shared the CEO title at College Hill.At Bell Pottinger, Smith will develop the company's three-year business plan, advise on staff retention and seek to win new business.
He joined College Hill in 2004 (PRWeek, 17 July 2004).
He was commercial director at Enterprise IG and MD at The Henley Centre.
