Lloyds TSB enlists ex-Time director
PR Week UK, Thursday, 20 July 2006, 12:00am,
Former Time magazine comms director Emma Jacobs (née Gilpin) has joined Lloyds TSB to develop its comms across it's retail-banking arm.
Jacobs joins on a six-month contract. She has been without a permanent role since MTV Networks International made her position redundant just days after she agreed to join just before last Christmas. The position was axed as part of a cost-cutting exercise.
Jacobs joined Lloyds TSB UK retail banking this week as comms consultant, working on both internal and external comms.
‘Having started out as a financial journalist, banking feels like very natural territory,' she said.
