Pure hedonism at Fishburn 'media' do
PR Week UK, Friday, 03 February 2006, 12:00am,
Last Thursday's annual Fishburn Hedges media soiree, ingeniously named FishBurns Night, revealed just why the agency performs so well in those 'Britain's best places to work' lists.
While a cornucopia of unclaimed journalists' name badges graced the reception at the Covent Garden party, the Fishy Hedges folk had plenty of bizarre treats to entertain the hacks who came.
Among them was a new video karaoke concept, 'dance heads', for which the gathered throng were invited to don green felt body suits and jolt their heads to classic pop tunes. Nice.
But the piece de resistance was a reindeer-sculpted vodka flume, devoured the most mercilessly by co-head of FH's financial practice Andy Berry.
(We couldn't get our mobile phone picture to work in print Andy, you lucky, lucky man).
