Ian Hall, PR Week UK, Thursday, 12 January 2006, 12:00am,
London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, host to the PRWeek Awards and in the midst of a multi-million-pound restoration, is set for an image makeover.
US-based Marriott International, which operates the Park Lane property, has brought in Luchford APM to promote it as 'London's premier destination hotel'.
The agency won an eight-way pitch and reports to senior director of sales and marketing strategy Chip Stuckmeyer.
Agency joint managing and creative director Kelly Luchford said: 'Grosvenor House will become Marriott's European flagship and we intend to communicate this internationally.'
