IPA pitch protection service shows teeth
PR Week UK, Friday, 09 December 2005, 12:00am,
The IPA welcomed your feature ('End this practice,' 2 December) on our confidential pitch advisory service.
But far from lacking teeth, our service has provided IPA members with an effective method of tackling malpractice, and action has already been taken in one of the cases on which you reported.
Working with the PRCA, and others, we have also produced 'Finding an Agency', a best-practice pitch guide.
And in terms of copyright protection, agencies can register their work with us before presentation to clients.
Hamish Pringle, director-general, IPA.
