HC bags Viking account
PR Week UK, Thursday, 08 December 2005, 12:00am,
York Archaeological Trust has enlisted Harrison Cowley to promote its 21st Viking Festival, billed as ‘a battle for love’, next February.
The ten-day festival includes battle re-enactments and a boat race. HC will provide on-going PR for the Jorvik Viking Centre in York and launch an interactive tourist attraction called 'Dig' in April.
A media relations campaign will see HC targeting national papers and online news sites, entertainment guides, photo agencies, supplements, the History Channel and women's weeklies.
HC replaces Heritage PR on the account.
