SanDisk reviews Europe accounts

US technology company SanDisk is understood to be approaching agencies to handle its media planning and buying account across the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain, with a spend of up to £7m.
SanDisk is handled by Media Planning Group in the UK and the Havas agency is expected to be part of the review process.
The technology firm has European headquarters in the Netherlands and sales offices in France for southern Europe, the UK for northern Europe, Germany for central Europe, and Austria for eastern Europe. The company also has more than 50 main distributors across Europe, supplying retailers.
SanDisk specialises in computer memory cards, USB Flash Drives, mobile phone SIM cards and gaming memory cards.
SanDisk confirmed it is reviewing its creative account out of incumbent Euro RSCG, but would not comment on the media arrangements. MPG was not available for comment.
