... as details emerge of Ravden first novel
PR Week UK, Friday, 25 November 2005, 12:00am,
On the subject of books, we hear this week that Amazon is taking advance orders for a Nick Hornby-esque guide to married life by Next Fifteen UK corporate development director and Bite Communications founder Matthew Ravden.
Orion Books' blurb describes Ravden's BlokeMiles, out next year, as a 'perceptive and funny' novel in which the central character invents a system not dissimilar to brownie points. BlokeMiles are good deeds for your better half traded against time spent watching the rugby matches and other 'blokeish activities'.
Henpecked PROs will have to wait until July to benefit from Ravden's pearls of wisdom. Could this, we ask, be the industry's answer to High Fidelity?
