F-H bids for share of the pink pound
PR Week UK, Thursday, 24 November 2005, 12:00am,
Fleishman-Hillard London is to launch a gay and lesbian communications practice, badged F-H Out Front.
F-H claims it will be the first global agency to offer consumer, corporate and healthcare services tailored to the gay market. It launches on 29 November.
Several niche agencies, such as 90TEN, already compete for a share of the pink pound. Porter Novelli also launched a gay practice, Scene, in 2000.
F-H consultant Eddy Evans heads the three-strong division.
The Out Front brand was launched in the US last year.
