McGahey takes PI public service job
PR Week UK, Thursday, 10 November 2005, 12:00am,
Politics International has hired David McGahey as director of public services.
He was previously MD of VT Education and Skills, which provides careers advice, training and apprenticeships, and is a PI client.
The hire follows the Education White Paper, which proposed the introduction of more privately backed schools. Reporting to PI managing director Andrew Dunlop, McGahey will also work with clients in other sectors, such as healthcare.
He has been replaced at VT by business development director Simon Withey.
