Rank Holidays has ended its six-month search for a marketing chief
by appointing Martin Dalgleish to oversee its Haven and Haven Europe
brands.
Dalgleish takes up the position following an internal shake-up earlier
in the year, which saw former marketing director Peter Allport, who was
responsible for the Haven and Butlins brands, promoted to the new role
of commercial services director.
Rank Holidays’ four travel companies - Butlins, Haven, Oasis and Warner
- were relocated to Hemel Hempstead last month. The new Butlins
marketing director, Ken Johnstone, was appointed at the end of
August.
Dalgleish will report directly to Haven’s managing director, John
Murphy.
Haven attracts over one million holidaymakers annually. The pounds 3m
advertising account is handled by FCA.
Dalgleish was previously marketing director at the Western Australian
Tourism Commission in Perth, working in the events unit, following a
period as marketing manager for PepsiCo in Perth.
