Gareth Morgan has taken the reigns as editor of the Richard Desmond-owned Daily Star Sunday.
Morgan's new position is the result of a move by the previous editor Hugh Whittow, who has edited the Sunday paper since it was launched in September 2002, to the Daily Express.
Whittow is to take the position of deputy editor Peter Hill, who formerly edited The Star. He took over as editor of the Daily Express this month when boss Chris Williams took control at the Scottish edition of the Daily Mail.He will work alongside Dawn Neesom, who took the editorship of the Daily Star following Hill's departure.
