Four agencies pitch for drugs campaign
As the Government's drug policy continues to be one of the biggest political hot potatoes, the Home Office and Department of Health have invited four agencies to pitch for a £3m campaign to raise awareness among young people of the dangers of Class A substances.
MGOMD, PHD, MediaVest and Naked have all been short-listed with partner creative agencies to pitch for the media planning task.
The move comes amid controversy surrounding Government drugs adviser Keith Hellawell's resignation over plans to reclassify cannabis as a class C drug.
The four-year advertising campaign will be launched in support of the Government's cross-departmental 10-year anti-drugs strategy which he spearheaded.
