Camelot, today celebrating the renewal of its National Lottery licence, has struck a deal with Freeserve to develop ways of selling lottery tickets on the web.
The two parties will work together to ensure that a secure and user-friendly site can be produced, allowing the public to purchase lottery tickets on the web. Freeserve will also create a new co-branded National Lottery site and the deal will initially be the exclusive online partner of the lottery, although other companies may get involved at a later stage.
“This deal further demonstrates Freeserve’s ability to provide well-known brands with distribution to the UK’s largest online community.”
