Jonesco takes NPA chair
The new chairman of the Newspaper Publishers Association is to be Andy Jonesco, who is the managing director of Express Newspapers. He succeeds Roger Eastoe, former group managing director of TrinityMirror’s National Titles and Sports Divisions.
Said Mr Jonesco: "The NPA owes Roger Eastoe a great deal for the valuable work which he has done for the industry since the Mirror Group rejoined the NPA in 1998, particularly whilst he was NPA Chairman."
The new NPA vice-chairman is Kevin Beatty, chief operating officer at Associated New Media.
