New division for Media Contacts
Recruitment consultancy Media Contacts has launched a specialist division that will provide candidates for media support and production positions.
The division will be headed by consultant Lindsey Myerscough with support from Rupert Wallis, who is promoted to consultant.
Wallis, whose previous role encompassed administrative, technical and sales support functions, will use his experience to help recruit support staff across a variety of sectors from new media, production and design to junior marketing roles.
The addition of the new division increases the number of consultants at Media Contacts to eight and broadens its offer to cover a range of sectors including media owners, sales houses, web design companies, ad agencies, recruitment consultancies as well as exhibition and conference organisers.
According to Media Contacts managing director Hugh Joslin, the new division was established in response to client needs. “Clients had expressed the desire for a one-stop shop that can fulfil their full spectrum of recruitment requirements,” he said. Media Contacts claims the new division has placed a PA, a traffic co-ordinator and two marketing assistants in its first three weeks of trading.
