P&O hires Gosnell from Electrolux

Port and ferry operator P&O has hired Claire Gosnell as head of corporate communications.

Gosnell joins from Electrolux, where she was head of PR for western Europe, as P&O continues its restructure from conglomerate to ports operator.

At P&O she leads a four-strong corporate comms team, reporting to long-serving board director for strategy and comms Peter Smith.

She replaces Victoria Moth, who left in March after around five years.

Gosnell joined Electrolux in 2002 from Manning Selvage & Lee, where she was a director. Electrolux is on the hunt for a replacement.
