Toyota hires H&K for green push
PR Week UK, Friday, 01 July 2005, 3:57pm,
Toyota has handed Hill & Knowlton its public affairs account to push its environmental and safety credentials in government circles.
The firm's Lexus subsidiary has been hailed as a green pioneer through its RX400h model, which uses a petrol and electric motor.
The account is led by H&K London public affairs MD Tim Fallon. H&K won the business after a competitive pitch to replace Citigate Public Affairs.
Separately, it has emerged that Toyota's top lobbyist in Brussels, Chris O'Keefe, has relocated to head government and corporate affairs in the UK.
