JWT makes management changes in Amsterdam and Lisbon

AT PPGH/JWT in Amsterdam, Otto Van der Harst has been named sole managing director of the agency. To date, he has shared the role with Henny Nieuenhuis, who is to leave the agency after 16 years.
Van der Harst joined PPGH in 1981 prior to its merger with JWT. He worked in account planning until 1995 when he became client services director. He was named joint MD in June.
Meanwhile, Susana de Carvalho has been appointed general manager of JWT Lisbon. She succeeds Manuel Patarrana, who is to leave the agency.
Also in Lisbon, Luis Preto da Silva has been named group chairman responsible for all operating units. His role as chief executive officer of JWT's second string agency in Lisbon, Abrinicio, will be taken over by Antonio Mello, who has been with the agency for two years.
