Grogan becomes top PRO at BK
PR Week UK, Friday, 08 April 2005, 11:52am,
Burger King has scrapped the international comms director post vacated by Kai Boschmann earlier this year, leaving EMEA comms manager Dara Grogan as its most senior PRO for the UK.
Grogan takes responsibility for the fast-food giant's stance on obesity in Britain.
She said that following the appointment of Edna Boone Johnson to replace Steven DeSutter as SV-P of global comms in the US, Burger King had scrapped the role previously held by Boschmann, who left to become Dixons group director of corporate affairs.
Burger King would not rule out a review of its UK agencies, which include Edelman.
