Marketing Mix: Name That Brand

This brand was launched in the UK in 1966. It has a raspberry flavour and is aimed at children over the age of two months. Its most recent TV ads, which broke in December, starred a girl called Louise, who becomes feverish and imagines that she is surrounded by sharks in the ocean, but is saved by this brand. The ads were produced by Swedish director Jesper Hiro and the campaign carries the strapline 'If you've got kids, you'll understand'.
The product accounts for 66.5% of the children's analgesic sector, a market worth £31m. In January 2003, the brand, which is owned by Pfizer, extended into melt-in-the-mouth tablets and sachets.
