BBDO Guerrero Ortega is formed though a partnership between BBDO Asia/Pacific and ex-Ogilvy & Mather Philippines executive creative director, David Guerrero, as well as its strategic planning and new business director, Jos Ortega. The start-up will open its doors in October.
Under Guerrero's leadership, Ogilvy & Mather became the dominant creative agency in the Philippines, and was the first Philippines agency to win major international awards including Grand Prize for Print at the London International Advertising Awards, 1997; Gold and other awards at the New York Festivals; Clios; Cannes as well as this year's One Show.
According Chris Jaques president BBDO Asia Pacific, "This announcement represents another major coup for BBDO in Asia and reflects once again our total commitment to become the leading, most creative network in the region."
