The competitive five-way pitch saw Wieden & Kennedy go up against Hypo Bank incumbent TBWA, Lowe & Partners, Michael Conrad & Leo Burnett and Ammitari Puris Lintas in Hamburg.
The account is understood to be worth around $35 million with the bulk being claimed by Wieden & Kennedy. It has been tasked with developing the corporate umbrella campaign for the new HypoVereinsbank.
Baader Lang Behnken, which was the incumbent on Beyerische's account, will handle the product and literature advertising.
