- Media Edge, the Young & Rubicam owned media planning and buying agency, has been appointed to the $300 million Tricon Global Restaurants television buying business in the United States.
The New York based agency won the business following an extensive review and a competitive pitch in which Media Edge saw off TN Media and BBDO Worldwide.
Tricon Global is the US owner of the KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell fast food restaurants.
Media Edge already held the media business for KFC, for which Y&R handles the advertising.
