The UK and Germany are the leaders in terms of internet penetration with over 12.5 and 11.3 million unique users respectively. Denmark is lagging behind last, after France, Spain and Sweden, with just under 2 million users, However, although the Danish internet audience is small and spends less time online than its European counterparts, the country's internet users are amongst the most regular in Europe.
Sweden and the UK have the highest proportion of women online.
