icollector, the online auction service, has formed a two-year global partnership with FT.com.
As part of the deal icollector will get substantial offline exposure for icollector through global advertising across all the FT's worldwide editions, in both the weekday and weekend sections.
The FT will launch a series of new channels, one of which will offer ecommerce and shopping opportunities to FT.com users in the UK and US. The FT and icollector will develop a co-branded area through which icollector will offer online auctions, bidding and reference facilities together with pre-sales bidding and fixed price sales for art, antiques, and premium collectibles.
