- Micron Electronics has named the former Dell Computer agency, Goldberg Moser O'Neill, to its estimated $50 million (£30 million) advertising account.
The win gives the San Francisco-based agency a new computer account only weeks after it resigned the $90 million Dell Computer account.
It is understood that Micron saw a number of agencies before appointing Goldberg, which is reunited with Joel Kocher, a former senior executive at Dell, and now chairman and chief executive officer of Micron.
The business had previously been handled by the Texas agency Bam!. Micron is third in the US direct sell PC market place behind market leader Dell and number two player Gateway.
