For the last year, the children's charity had been working with Ogilvy & Mather but decided not to renew its relationship with the agency once its one year contract had run its course.
Having concluded its creative review the charity is now reviewing its media buying and planning needs. Media is currently handled by O&M's sister agency, the Network.
A spokesman for Barnardo's said a number of media agencies were being seen and a decision was expected shortly.
According to Barnardo's, the fundamentals of its brand positioning were established during its year with O&M and a range of new marketing and communications activities were introduced.
BBH will continue the work begun by O&M in repositioning the Barnardo's brand as a 'distinctive, modern, deserving children's charity'.
