- Broadcast company, Century 105 has appointed J Walter Thompson Manchester and MediaVest to handle its £1 million launch in the North West scheduled for September.
The appointment follows a competitive pitch against a number of unnamed agencies.
Century 105 won the Northwest regional radio licence earlier this year. The licence granted gives the station the largest single broadcast area outside London and its programmes will reach a potential audience of over five million people.
The Century Radio brand, owned by Border Holdings, has already been successfully established in the North East and East Midlands with regional stations based in Gateshead and Nottingham respectively.
