Vodafone kicks off £4m contest for B2B CRM account
Claire Billings,, Campaign, Friday, 04 February 2005, 7:00am,
LONDON - Vodafone UK is searching for a direct marketing agency to handle its business-to-business CRM task.
The business, estimated to be worth £4m, is held by Harrison Troughton Wunderman, which also handles Vodafone's consumer direct marketing brief.
Vodafone has appointed Agency Insight to handle the review. The consultant is contacting agencies, but has not yet drawn up a pitchlist.
A spokeswoman confirmed the account was going to be put up for pitch, but stressed that HTW would be invited to present and its standing on the consumer business would not be affected.
The review follows an internal restructure at Vodafone, which saw marketing functions for its corporate and SME business-to-business divisions combined.
