Tribal DDB awarded online creative task for Domestos

LONDON – Tribal DDB has been awarded the online creative account for Lever Faberge's Domestos bleach brand after a two-way pitch.
Tribal DDB, the interactive arm of Omnicom Group's DDB Worldwide, is creating a microsite for Domestos, which is due to launch this year.
In February 2004, Lever Faberge announced it was putting £12m in marketing support behind its Domestos brand to make up for poor results attributed to a lack of extensions last year.
Creative ad agency Lowe continues to work for Unilever on Domestos TV and print ads, plus a number of other brands including Cif in the UK, and US laundry brands Wisk and Snuggle.
The brand's first major TV advertising was the "Big Bad Dom" campaign during the 1980s. After a break of almost a decade, Domestos returned to our screens with ads by Lowe featuring events such as the introduction of the driving test in 1935 and O Levels in 1951 to illustrate instances that might cause people's nerves to fray.
'Big Brother 3' hygiene-obsessed housemate Alex Sibley went on to star in a TV ad campaign for Domestos in 2002.
