LONDON – The Daily Telegraph and Oxfam have linked up to offer Telegraph readers a free 10-track download of the best new British acts from Oxfam's digital music site.
The promotion will appear in the Telegraph's Music on Thursday pages as the weekly Perfect Playlist feature.
Tracks on the exclusive compilation include a live track from The Zutons; Mylo's 'Drop the Pressure'; 'Falling for You' by rising jazz star Clare Teal; and 'Change is Coming' by MOBO UK Best Newcomer Estelle.
The Perfect Playlist feature normally suggests the best songs by a major artist to download and has previously covered Bob Dylan and Prince. Past Perfect Playlists can also be downloaded from Oxfam's site at half price, £5.
Oxfam launched its music site in May and uses it as a link into its petitions and its current campaign, Make Trade Fair. Of the site's sales, 10p in every £1 goes to the charity. It offers more than 400,000 tracks from 13,000 artists.
