Select committee line-up finalised

The Lancet editor Richard Horton and Daily Mail medical correspondent Jenny Hope will be among the five witnesses to give evidence to the House of Commons Select Committee’s ongoing inquiry into The Influence of the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Sunday Times medical editor Lois Rogers, Paling Walters MD Mike Paling, plus Ogilvy Healthworld Europe regional president Margot James, complete
a five-strong line-up of witnesses at the inquiry’s sixth session on 16 December.
Meanwhile, representatives of pharma firms and pharma trade associations will face the 11-strong committee on 13 January.
The committee’s final report is expected to be issued before the end of March.
