Sarah Robertson, PR Week UK, Friday, 03 December 2004, 12:00am,
The British Horse Society has appointed The Catholic Church head of news Oliver Wilson to be its first comms director as it prepares to crank up its profile.
Wilson’s hire is one of five director positions that have been created at the charity, which campaigns on horse welfare and promotes safe riding practice, representing more than 60,000 members.
He joins on 4 January and will oversee a three-strong team – consisting of a media relations officer, publications officer and administrative assistant.
