Harvard’s Mason to lead spin-off
Tom Williams, PR Week UK, Friday, 26 November 2004, 12:00am,
Harvard Public Relations director Keith Mason is set to leave the technology PR shop after 20 years.
Harvard has agreed to spin off its specialist electronics PR business into
Mason’s new firm Humbug, which will start trading in January.
Harvard chairman Nick Taylor said the arrangement would mean Humbug taking specialist electronics work by referral from Harvard in return for a percentage of fee income. Aeroflex Test Solutions and Ramtron are among Harvard’s clients.
Mason told PRWeek he was making the move to keep in closer touch with clients and the media.
