PR Week UK, Friday, 29 October 2004, 12:00am,
UK occupational health outfit The Health People Group has drafted in PR agency support to boost awareness of its roadtohealth brand.
The Drum Consultancy is to promote roadtohealth, which offers health screening facilities and health management programmes to pharmacies, PCTs, private medical insurance (PMI) providers, businesses and direct to the public.
Drum is handling corporate, trade and consumer PR for a year. It is also aiming to set up an alliance between The Health People Group and a charity.
Roadtohealth has set up more than 150 screening facilities – designed to assess and manage coronary heart disease risk, cardiovascular disease risk and diabetes – in UK retail pharmacies and fitness centres.
Drum has been hired for a year and reports to sales and marketing director Paul Gaudin.
