Fujitsu Siemens sets up UK team
PR Week UK, Friday, 15 October 2004, 12:00am,
Fujitsu Siemens Computers has promoted head of UK PR and internal comms Dave Scott to the new role of head of UK marketing operations with a brief to set up a five-strong London-based PR team.
UK comms previously operated from the company’s German base and, according to a spokesman, the move reflects Fujitsu’s growth.
Scott’s promotion sees him take on additional responsibilities for ads, an internal TV channel and corporate communications.
He reports to marketing director for UK and Ireland Nick Eades.
Fujitsu Siemens Computers was set up five years ago and its PR is currently managed by Four Communications. Fujitsu and Siemens continue to manufacture other technology products separately.
