Disney promotes TV comms chief

Walt Disney International has appointed its TV arm’s head of comms Lucien Harrington to head comms for its Asian Pacific markets.
Harrington, who was promoted to V-P of communications at Walt Disney TV International last January and has worked in comms for Walt Disney for nine years, has been appointed V-P, marketing for Walt Disney International – Asia Pacific (WDI-AP).
Harrington will also head up comms and marketing for WDTI Asia Pacific as V-P, marketing.
WDTI has yet to find a new head of UK comms to replace Harrington.
Disney Consumer Products has hired Buena Vista Home Entertainment head of comms Rochelle Gosling as European director of corporate comms.
