From this week, national press advertising will drive consumers to the hotel operator's website. Advertising uses the strapline 'Wherever you see our hotels, you won't see them cheaper than at www.ichotelsgroup.co.uk'.
The ads will support InterContinental's online guarantee that if a lower price is found elsewhere, it will better it by 10%.
An internet campaign will target short-break bookers, while poster activity will appear at London Underground and mainline stations from 25 October.
Advertising is by ARC, with media by PHD, and AKQA providing specialist online support.
InterContinental owns the Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn chains.
