Siebel Systems hires Bite in US

SAN MATEO, CA: Enterprise software firm Siebel Systems has selected Bite Communications as its agency of record across the US.
Bite beat Edelman and Blanc & Otus in a final three-way shootout. The agency reports to senior director of PR Steve Diamond.
Bite North America general manager Burghardt Tenderich is ex-V-P of PR at Siebel, but Diamond claimed this did not affect the choice.
Bite chief executive Clive Armitage said the agency already worked with Siebel in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, ‘so we know the size of the task in front of us’.
