MEDIA BRIEF: Kerins appointed deputy editor

THE SUN: Suzanne Kerins has been appointed deputy editor of The Sun's Bizarre pop and gossip pages. Kerins, who currently edits the showbusiness page at the Sunday Mirror, will report to Bizarre editor Victoria Newton. Kerins replaced Polly Graham, who left the paper earlier this year to take up a similar role at the News of the World. Niki Waldegrave, who works on the Daily Mirror's 3am gossip page, has also quit and plans to go travelling.
