Fox Kids hires a new head of press and PR for Europe

Fox Kids Europe, the children’s TV and internet entertainment company, has appointed Jenny Burbage as head of press and PR.
Burbage will report to Shari Donnenfeld,Fox Kid’s executive director for research and marketing, and heads up the three-strong UK team, supported by corporate comms co-ordinator Lynne-Mei Lee and PRO Sarah Warren.
She will have a supervisory role co-ordinating with PR managers and their staff across the network’s major markets in Europe. These include France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Russia, Spain and Benelux.
Burbage is responsible for developing and co-ordinating the company’s corporate comms and PR strategy for all Fox Kids divisions in Europe and the Middle East. She will be looking at the corporate community across Europe and where existing programmes can be shared.
Burbage joins Fox Kids from The Jim Henson Company where she was senior manager for press and PR, handling both corporate and consumer PR and reporting to the company’s head office in Los Angeles. She was with the company for four years and recent campaigns she carried out there include the Henson pre-school series and The Muppets’ 25th Anniversary.
Burbage has replaced Fox’s previous head of press and PR, Louise Drabwell, who left to set up her own PR agency.
