STOP PRESS: 'Global drive brands' record growth for BAT

British American Tobacco's so-called 'global drive brands' - Kent, Dunhill, Lucky Strike and Pall Mall - have recorded growth of 17% in the six months to June 30. Profits were down by 25% to £762m, partly due to the cost of restructuring the UK operation.
