Prior to joining WCRS as interactive creative head in 1999, Banham worked for the agencies Brann and Landor Associates as an art director. While working at WCRS, Banham was part of the team that created the online "It's a Mini adventure" campaign for the relaunch of Mini.
Banham has won a Campaign award for best online ad of the year for BMW, and he also won at the Eyeblaster Awards for Mini. He was featured in last year's D&AD annual for his work on BMW, the only online creative to have achieved the honour to date.
Jon Sharpe, managing director of itraffic, said: "Itraffic is winning more and more business on the strength of our creative abilities -- Freeserve, Heineken and our appointment to the COI roster are all recent examples.
"To effectively manage this we need a best-of-breed creative director, who is experienced in all aspects of advertising. I'm confident Paul will prove a massive asset to itraffic London."
